Having suffered through 3 straight losses to the Bobcats, and more misery from Tettleton and Blankenship than I care to remember (plus our own, self-inflicted miseries in this series), here's looking forward to the Pirates destroying Ohio in the Beef O'Brady's Bowl in St. Pete.
I hope the Pirates travel well. It's not a bad place to watch the game, and today the weather is in the mid-80s, so you should have fun in the area while attending.
But I do believe Ruffin will have his group ready to play. i look for a 14+ point win for ECU, but feel free to pile on more points, if you can!
The only thing I'll regret, is we'll have to hear from a couple of Pirate fans on how they dismantled Ohio and Marshall couldn't, but it will be worth the momentary pain on this board to see a strong ECU performance in their last C-USA appearance.
Go Pirates!

With the mudstomping the Herd handed us in Huntington, it would be pretty for any Pirate fan to talk smack to Marshall about Ohio. Looking forward to the game tomorrow and good luck to the Herd in the Military Bowl.

If I were to guess, I would think that there will be a total of around 5K in town for the game. We sold a touch over a thousand through ECU if I'm not mistaken and I would be willing to bet that the majority of those who go will buy tickets through less expensive venues than the athletic department.
Look in the stands tomorrow and give us a rough estimate...

Bad date and time, and the economy, bowl match up. I can't go this close to Christmas with family coming into town. We more often send many, many more. We've sent over 10k to the Liberty, 17.5k to the Military bowl, and over 30k to the 1992 Peach bowl. Several times around 10k and over. The location is nice, the match up is so-so ( and mean that with all due respect, I personally don't care who we play, truth is that to really sell tickets and draw in the average fan you need a good match up.) and the date, Monday the 23rd is just horrible. Hand it been Saturday the 21st or the Friday/Saturday after Christmas we'd have 8k plus easy, same dates with a AQ team, 10-12k.

It is what it is, I wish we would have gotten to atleast 8,000, but we had more go through non-ECU sources to buy tickets. Both school got kind of shafted on seat locations, I know if I was going I would not have gone through ECU for tickets because better seats where out there at stub-hub and through the bowl site.
But, this is not the norm for us to be so low, this below is,

Go Pirates!
I hope Ohio wins by 4 TDs
Well this changes everything! ...speaking of people remaining consistent with their hate...
