This is a common tactic used by progressives. It has worked nicely for a long time, simply because no one has really called them on it.
Here's another one the progressives push that is also blatantly false
"If Lincoln were alive today, he'd be a Democrat."
No he wouldn't. Lincoln believed in opportunity for all, not class warfare.
Your opinion =/= fact.
In fairness, neither does his.

I believe in opportunity for all as well. It doesn't seem however that the modern GOP wants that. At least it doesn't seem that way with how they vote on issues for women, gays, and immigrants.
Let's see, the women's rights issue is the right to murder unborn children. It's pretty sad you view that as a human rights issue. The gay issue is about the GOP platform on traditional marriage and the traditional family, and your immigrant rights issue is about granting amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants in hopes they become newly registered democrats.
The women's rights issues I was speaking of is equal pay. The gay rights issue I was speaking of was the right to serve in the military and the immigration issue is simply immigration reform.

The military runs the military...not the GOP. Men have typically earned more throughout history because they work longer hours.
and
immigration reform is code for = path to citizenship for millions of illegal aliens.
There is nothing wrong with the laws we have now. They simply have to be enforced.
But take note how you are using class warfare. This is how the DNC has gotten the minority vote - pushing this garbage.
Now please stay on topic. This thread is not about the GOP's views on those issues. It's not good board etiquette to hijack someone's thread - regardless of how unflattering you find it.

That makes more hours, but not longer hours.

Exactly. Since when do men work longer hours than women? If that isn't the most sexist comment I have ever heard I don't know what is. There is a reason why women, gays and minorities, vote majority democrat and you are the prime example.
