RE: 2013-14 Bowl Thread
This is really disappointing. The ACC had 11 bowl teams and completely whiffed.

Wins
North Carolina
Pitt
Syracuse

Losses
Boston College (by 23)
Duke
Georgia Tech
Maryland (by 11)
Miami (by 27)
Virginia Tech (by 30)

Clemson and Florida State can outweigh the losses if they win the Orange and BCS.

Game could/should be 21-2 right now. It's football though. Clemson needs to put OSU away or they'll end up losing.

Ohio state scores here I think they will explode second half, with all the yardage clemson racked up and to trail at half time would be devastating.

Clemson sucks so much d**k. Dabo is such a mediocre coach. He's a good recruiter and his two coordinators make as much as he does. Otherwise he's a BUM.

[Welp Clemson if you go down by 9 to start the second half......difference will be if Clemson can play similar to how they did In the first half offensively and more importantly stop the big plays

What did you honestly expect?

There were literally some sites that predicted the ACC to go 0-for.

Watch the jersey stretches the Ohio State line is getting while pass blocking. It has been present on just about every pass play. Especially on #74 of the Buckeyes. But no holding calls. That's why Braxton has time to throw.

Dabo needs to make an issue of it before the second half starts.

I still can't believe Clemson is losing at the half with the way they dominated most of the half.

The refs have certainly had an impact in this game. Clemson is helping them with mistakes though.

Their qb thought the ref was on his team and was shocked when he didn't come over to catch it for him.

Yea, Dabo sucks "so much d**k". Still.

Clemson is one of the most undisciplined teams I've ever seen. Should've won this game in the first half. No doubt I'd love to be in Clemson's position tonight, but f*ck that was hard to watch at times.

Clemson took "boneheaded" to a new level tonight and still won.

Ohio State and B1G's luck has run out. B1G will fall to the bottom of P5 in the next 10 years as more people move to the South.

Only Carolina and Florida State were betting favorites. We can still go 5-6, which would be quite respectable.

Technically you're supposed to count Maryland and Miami but I don't. Maryland is on their way out the door and the team that beat Miami is coming in.

RE: 2013-14 Bowl Thread
The final BCS rankings weren't much help in predicting the outcome of bowl games this year. 23 ranked teams have played their game, with FSU-Auburn the only remaining game involving ranked teams.

Eight teams played a higher ranked opponent. Those teams went 4-4. (Obviously, that's also true for those eight playing a lower ranked opponent.

Seven teams played unranked opponents. They went 4-3 (the losses were by Arizona State, Georgia and Northern Illinois).

Both ranked teams from outside the BCS conferences lost (#20 Fresno lost to #25 USC).

Both ranked teams from the AAC, which loses its power conference status next year, won their bowl games (#15 UCF over #6 Baylor and #18 Louisville over unranked Miami).

The FSU OLBs are getting abused. And that's a shame ... because Auburn's option plays are going about as well as Georgia Tech's ... which is to see quite poorly indeed.
