What do you think of when you hear a regional accent?

Used to be a huge similarity in people saying "all" and "oil" to sound alike in North Carolina,
but has actually changed somewhat the last ten years or so.

Im on my phone and can't hotlink it, but you should also k up the downeast accent from north Carolina. It took me a Lon time to lose mine when I moved inland and went to college 15 years ago.funny thing though, it only takes about a weekend for it to come back when I'm home.
If anybody finds the YouTube videos of the accent, mine Isn't quite that thick since I live a few miles inland on the creeks instead of right on the sound.

The accent around NC and VA is the original southern dialect. Every other area where the southern dialect is spoken has a variation of that.
