Yeah, they're worse. But again, just my opinion. I am entitled to them regardless of how fruity or stupid you or Belief thinks it is right?

I didn't call you or your opinion "fruity" or stupid. I'm just ambivalent about John Neal as UAB's next coach.

Sounds like he did you guys a favor
It's sort of like the situation where Lane Kiffin left Tennessee for the Southern Cal job. Pretty much everybody in Knoxville wanted him gone, but getting rid of him was going to be a challenge ($$$). Then Kiffin stepped up and solved the problem on his own.
One key difference, though: Kiffin left to become the HC at one of the Top 20 or so legacy football programs in the country. McGee left to become a coordinator at Louisville. So there's that.
Don't let those Vawl fans lie to you. They loved them some Lane Kiffin until he left abruptly.
No Vol fan I know was disappointed when he left, they were all pleased. However, I travel in a pretty mature and established crowd. He had embarrassed them a few times with his kiddie antics.
Louisville is throwing $ around in a big way, so it's not surprising that the Blazers are losing McGee. They are paying Georgia's DC that fans wanted fired $1 million annually.
Good luck to the Blazers in their coaching search.

Just a rumor right now.
Yea they later tweeted out not a done deal yet but expected by the end of the week....FootballScoop Staff are pretty reliable on these type of things..What does UAB think about Bill Clark?
If this is true UAB has made a very good hire. Jmo

Seems like they all were pleased when he left (or just mad). Kind of like when the lose a "prized" recruit-- saying that he wasn't any good after leaving.
Most that I know liked him while he was in K-town. Said he "shook it up" there and made them relevant again. Those same folks "say" they were glad after he left.

I do too. UAB needs to make a good hire and then build an on-campus stadium.

I think they are talking about Kiffin.

RE: Garrick McGee no longer at UAB
Id take Neal over any other assistant interested in UAB. Id take him over Houston Nutt as well. It would be a tough decision between Clark and Neal for Me. Remember Clark is a few years removed from HS. Neal has 25+years of coaching experience at the college level.
