Don't hold your breath. Feb 15 is more likely.

Spoiler Alert: Nobody will be happy. UNC will get a bye before GT. GT will request a bye around week 6-8 ... and get one week 2. The Coastal will be decided before October ends as GT, Miami, and VT will have all played each other.

Or maybe it will be on the last week of the season with Duke and UNC. 03-wink

We have a good home slate next year.

And a relatively good away slate.

Getting the new schedule...is one of my favortie sports days...I sit down with a calendar and plan my Fall on that day. Louisville fans you will enjoy the ACC...it is different than the Big East for Football. Stadiums are more packed and the fans typically aren't D-Bags like you encountered at some BE venues.

How so? You guys like playing us. State game is the Textile Bowl. How can you not get excited about Petrino coming to town?

He just likes to complain. 2 or 3 of those should be very entertaining games, IMO.

I expect SU and UNC to be much improved. SU has almost entire offense coming back and most of defense. SU's qb really improved the last 3 or 4 games of the season. UNC really improved as the season went on. Louisville should be pretty good under Petrino. Not sure if current players take a few lumps under his system to start out.

Whole news systems on Offense and Defense...return a boatload of players but the transition with the coaching staff and conference is going to be very interesting.

RE: 2014 ACC Football Schedules to be Released Soon
Whether schedules are good or bad depends on your point of view. Do you want to play the best teams possible, or would you rather win more games? The ideal home schedule includes brand name schools whose fans travel well, but whose teams are uncharacteristically weak this year. The worst is when you thought you scheduled a cupcake and they have a breakout year (see Duke, Vanderbilt). If only you could know before the season starts....

Judging by the attendance the past few times you have been here, not really.

Judging by the number of people wearing baby blue that show up y'all care less.

So? Much like the textile industry in America that might have meant something in the 1980's (when it was created, so it's not like it's a historic trophy like the Old Brown Jug or Paul Bunyan's Axe) but not so much now.

It'll be semi-interesting.

Clemson will go 1-3 in those games with only a win against NC State.

Which two?

The one against the team who went 3-9 and is expecting a QB who was passed over by Jeff Driskell to turn them around?

The one against the team that only beat one decent team all year and lost it's best offensive weapon, 2/3rds of it's DL and half it's secondary?

The one against the team where the only entertaining thing about them kis if their coach is going to have yet another childish outburst on the sidelines on national TV and their players are going to strut around like peacocks down four scores again?

The one with the morally bankrupt coach who is replacing an NFL first round QB and bringing in a defense that wasn't all that great with NFL level talent year after year?

Now you're just making up stuff.

We played there in 2011...attendance was 80,519. Third highest total behind Auburn and FSU.

We played there in 2006..attendance was 81,886. Also your third highest behind SC and GT.

And I was there. There is no way in hell there were 79k there as the corners of both upper decks were empty and as usual the visiting section was thin.

Our home slate that year was Troy, Wofford, Auburn, FSU, BC, UNC, and Wake. You were third by default, as I would hope that a school as large as UNC would outdraw a Sun Belt school, a SoCon school, a tiny private school from NC, and a private school from New England.
