Damn. There are times I'm glad I was a commuter. If things like this had gone on when I was a student I wouldn't have graduated.

They are promising a video next week. The last time I'm Shmacked made an ODU video, the school got the video taken down.

Reminds me of a idea me and a few guys had a long time ago, before all the social media stuff. I even bought the domain name prisonersofparty.com ... Team POP. We talked about going around all over the US campus to campus doing exactly this. And this was at least 7/8 years ago?

Crap, I even had seven5seven.com and granbystreet.com registered back in maybe 2000? and was working on a social site for events and promotion and had tiered buy-in for restaurants and venues to buy ad space on key areas depending on their amount. Coded a section where they could log in and update their specials and/or events that would rotate on the site at intervals related to their purchase amount. Dammit I shouldn't have been a lazy 18 year old I'd own Seven Venues.

I will say the smartest thing I've seen I'm Shmacked do is make tees for colleges and promise to come to campus and make a vid if they sell-out. Really good way to push a mediocre product.

Yeah, when we sobered up we realized it was the dumbest idea ever and I wasted 9.95 buying a domain name. It's pretty much a huge lawsuit waiting to happen. Or worse.

"I'm Schmacked" is not a group by which I want to thought highly of. They need to grow up and get a life.

I have some respect for JMU after kicking out that group. Those videos can really ruin a schools reputation.

A large portion of the area between Hampton Blvd. and Colley Ave. is a high crime area. Given the hodge podge of university housing and rental housing in that area, it is hard to discern the real makeup of those contributing to the "riot". One of the casualties of the recent emminent domain decisions made by our "esteemed" state legislators is that it will become harder and harder to clean out the infestations located in that area. Sad but true and those types of incidents receive all the press that our liberal media can hand out thus serving to reinforce the bad perceptions of that area.

Ehh but people I've heard people still talk about University of Delawares riot. Though it may just be because of our riot. I just don't want hard working students to be put off by nonsense like this. Partying is fine, but rioting and attacking peoples cars can give the wrong impression to future students and there parents on going to ODU.
