One More Big Man Short of the Tourney
We have the players in place to compete in the new AAC next year except for one position - Center - imo.

Deandre W is a quality player who will be a good one in the new league, but imo he needs more inside help on the boards and someone who can post up strong as well. Evans is not really a post imo and Swannegan is a yo-yo player who can be a force as a shot blocker, but has agility problems in the paint. Rashad Smith "can" play post, but if we go into the AAC with him playing there instead of his natural position at the 3, we will just be an also ran. So we need either Big E or Little E to come through as a good reliable post presence or we need to recruit one. Both E's are young, but I'm afraid they'll be overwhelmed next year. Those teams in the AAC are strong, dominant and skilled. We need to be the same imo.

FYI, I heard Manning say on the radio last week that Big E was practicing now. He said he is very strong & he expected him to weigh in around 290 lbs next season, without any fat on him ! I agree that we will need some more strength & toughness to compete in the AAC. Hopefully Big E will provide some of that for us next season.
