TU v ECU Predictions
ECU is just 2-7 in CUSA but has a decent win over UAB, which did upset us. No quality wins, but they had a couple of decent losses to Duke by 9 and NC St by 11. Looking at the scores overall, they kind of remind me of us - both yo yo teams - up and down - good and bad. So any team like that is hard to predict because of consisitency.
But since we are home and they will have a long trip, we should be better by a fairly significant amount. We'll say:
TU - 72
ECU - 55

I'll guess 82-72. Even without Swilling, we should be able to win 6 of our last 7 IF we play our normal game. Unfortunately, this team's performance varies greatly & we lose games we shouldn't, so 5-2 or 4-3 is more likely.

We should win.......but............I sure wouldn't bet any big money on it!!!!! If we run more, get the ball and go.....we win 86-70.......if we play their game, we win 57-55, I hope......or maybe that's the other way around. I don't know which team is going to show up!!!

Final score TU 76 ECU 58 Good pick Rabid !
Woodard played a very nice all around game. Rep did a good job filling in for Swilling. Wright turned his ankle, but returned late. Hope he is OK for Saturday. That FIU/FAU road trip is looking tougher. Both of those teams have shown they can beat any CUSA team on a given night.

Every time we play a good game we have a let down.....although I am very happy to finally get to .500.......I fear we lose one of the two games in Florida!!!

I thought a good headline when we defeat ECU is always -"HURRCIANE SINKS PIRATES!".
