For anyone, like myself, who didn't know the tiebreaker procedure, here is the link:
AAC Basketball Tiebreakers
Essentially, since we split the regular season, the 1 seed would be determined by our respective records vs. the next highest team in the standings.

Whoever scheduled for AAC basketball this season deserves a raise.

Thanks, Ive been looking for that.
So as of right now in case of tie... SMU finishing 3rd would be bad for UC . (Louisville 1-0 , UC 1-1) . but too many head to head games with 3, 4 & 5 right now for anything to be definitive . We just need to win .

We win the conference as long as we win out...or if we lose one we need Louisville to lose one. Louisville has 2 tough road games. They could lose.
1 seed in tourney would be great but as long as we win at least a tie of conference title ill be very happy! I have 4 football champs shirts. time for a basketball one!!

Right, we have a much better chance of winning the tiebreaker if we tie at 15-3 vs both teams winning out. If we both win out, I think the best we can hope for is Memphis beats SMU and it goes to coin flip I'm pretty sure.

The basketball TV deal and scheduling has been great. UC has been treated like top tier program and the league has received positive press. Hopefully the football side of the deal is equally has good. Could you imagine being stuck on Fox Sports 1 or NBCSN all year. Those were very real options at one point.

The schedule sucks because there are far too many 7 and 8 day layoffs.

How many is far too many? I have counted 2... One of which came when UC absolutely needed it. The other is this week As UC gets ready for a key 3 game stretch that will decide the conference. Got to be honest, I'm not really upset about the layoff.

My only beef is all the games on cbs sports network. I don't get this channel. In the past, almost every regional game was shown on fox sports ohio that is unless the Cleveland cavaliers were playing or the reds post game ran long.

thats the best part right now!! we played more games than anyone in AAC in February. now we get a little more rest to get ready for next month. we've had 2 one week layoffs in February (btwn SMU and Houston and now this week). I love it. gives guys chance to rest, heal.
well be playing three straight days in Memphis and every other in tourney so lets rest now

It obviously must stink to not have the channel but I enjoy Cbs sports far more than Fox Sports Ohio.

Ya, for some reason CBSSports is on another tier on Directv from NBCSports, Fox Sports 1, ESPNU, ESPNNEWS, and FSOhio all of which I get (don't get CBSS). I imagine most people complaining have DTV.
Regardless, I think we are done on that channel for the year.
