How the hell did he end up at Louisville?

He left Tech, basically, after he didn't get much WR time b/c he was down the depth chart.

He transferred to UofL last Summer and sat out last year. He was going to Florida but at the last minute changed his mind and now starts for UofL.

But with Brohm out for probably 4-5 Weeks he is now our Backup QB. We can't afford no more major injuries.

What happened to that kid Lee Sweeney? Is he still a QB at UL? I remember UCONN recruited him along with UL and he ended up at UL. Anyway, just wondering what happened to the kid.

Lee transferred out without ever hitting the field. He was redshirting last season and decided to transfer. Another UofL fan may remember more accurately, but I am not even sure he stayed the whole season last year. He left for a few reasons, among them:

-Realized he wasn't seeing the field anytime soon
-Wanted to also have a focus on baseball
-He got sick (want to say mono) at the start of the year and I suspect he never felt like a big part of the team

As it stands, he transferred to I-AA Tennessee Tech and is there starting QB this year as a freshman. Sort of ironic since UofL plays MTSU in a few weeks & this past week MTSU crushed T Tech 44-0. He got what he wanted though, playing time, so wish him the best.

Stats on the year:

41-82, 493 yds, 2 TD's, 6 INT's, & his team is 0-3...so obviously it's a rough start for him
