1. THE VILLE - When will teams learn not to tread on hallowed ground? Don't stomp on the Cardinal! This isn't the Miami of lore. However UofL is the team that helped them make the weaker Miami.

1. WVU - Very impressive offense. I love watching the Eers play and I hate the run run run. But they make it fun. They could'a beaten The Terps worse.

3. Piittiful - I think they just layed an egg against Michigan St. who has the potential to beat the nations #1 team by three touchdowns and then go out and lose by 10 to a 1AA team. They are so hot and cold. I still think Pittiful has a decent team.

4. USF - I am thankful I got to watch their game. I love Grothe. He is a good young QB. It's just what USF needed. And the receivers looked pretty good too. Where's the run (outside of Grothe)? USF doesn't look pretty, but does just enough to win.

5. Rutgirls - Good win over an improving Ohio team. I (finally) think Rutgirls is for real.

6. UConn - Though I like UConn and really wanted them to win, I did have to laugh a little to myself after all the crowing some UConn fans were doing after beating up on a 1AA team. Back to football realityg guys. I think you are better than Wake Forest on most days, but don't get to down. Wake is 3-0 right?

7. Cincy - Any other year I would have though UC would have played OSU tougher, but I expected the spread to be just about what it was. UC is still young and improving. They'll be just fine.

8 Srupcuse - Nice win! I am very happy for the program. You are showing that you can be competitive on a 1A level. The futue is bright I hope. Go Orange!

right now we have no running game outside of the qb option. our rbs are walk ons and really are not up to 1a play. hopefully well get ponton back soon and youll see a difference. we can be a dangerous team when we are 100%

1st tier

UL/WVU

2nd tier

Rutgers

3rd tier
USF/Pitt

4th tier
Uconn/UC/Syracuse

-- Once USF gets all of there people back they may be able to make a move up to Tier 2

-- Starting to have questions about Pitt...UVA losing to a directional Michigan school at home raises all kinds of ? marks about how good the Panthers really are

-- The 4th tier is the great unknown thus far. Uconn really suprised me by losing @ home to what I think is a poor Wake Forest team. What makes matters worse is Uconn had 2 weeks to prep. Syracuse is certainly showing improvement and may be in tier 2 or 3 by the time the yr is over. UC has a very good defense, but thus far there schedule has been so hard its diffucult to get a read on them. Playing at Blacksburg will likely be another long day for the Bearcats, but we should know more after the Miami (OH) and Akron games

-- Right now...I would say every team in our league has a chance for a bowl...which is good for the overall health of the conference

1. Louisville Everybody thought it was dooms day when Bush went down. Now everybody is expecting a fall off because of Bromh. K-State was the team I was most worried about before the beginning of the season, but with the two stars out, I feel better because the back ups have something to prove. They try harder.
2. WVU as I said before deserves to be a number one pick because they are the defending champion, ranked #4 nationally, and have played extremely well. 03-melodramatic but alass...with Louisville I listen to my heart not my mind.
3. Rutgers Because Pitt lost and Rutgers hasn't.
4. Pitt Still a notch over South Florida
5. South Florida loved the fact that they beat Central Florida...gotta keep lil brother from getting too big for his britches.
6. UC good effort but sometimes when you keep putting a team in over it's head...it'll drown. I hope Cincy has some spots in it's schedule where it can come up for air.
6. UConn I just love the potential of this program but I get red flags after this past weekend.
6. Syracuse I got good vibes after last weekend and this past weekend confirmed those good vibrations (soory beach boys). I'm ready to up their season wins by one....maybe 4-8?

I think Rutgers is the real deal and they will give UL & WVU a run for their money.

Rutgers beat UNC in a hard fought game at Chapel Hill. Rutgers beat a horrid Illinois team handily at home and then took out a MACster.

Where is that Ohio guy that's always over here anyway?

I think that Louisville will have a good game with RU but at this point I'm not worried. I'm very happy that they haven't dropped any games thus far. They are a primary reason the league is getting a bit more respect in the press.

I think all Rutgers fans at this point have Pitt and USF marked as tossups, and UL and WVU as losses. However, I think with the rise of the defense this season you're going to see an entirely different game between Rutgers and UL. If we have a chance to win one of those two games its the UL game because we're home and looking for some revenge. (Yea I guess a rivalry might be in the works.)

The UC Bearcats finish their tough road swing at VA Tech this Sat. Then come home for 4 of the next five. The Cats must defend the home turf in that stretch.
