per doctors the tear wasnt as bad as thought. He'll be throwing in 2 weeks and back to normal in 3.

I fully expect Brohm to be back for the start of Big East play. IF we get past KSU and MTSU with no more injuries and of course winning those games we will be in very good shape going into conference play with a likely Top 5 ranking.

Right now I'm not counting on having him against UC on Oct 14th. Per this morning's paper, his thumb is now immobilized for 2 weeks, and then he begins rehabilitation.

I do think we caught a break schedule wise if we get past K State. The cast/sling comes off the weekend of the bye, then he would have 2 weeks to rehab before Cincy, so he might be okay. Can't imagine Brohm playing against MTSU as the cast would have only been off a week.
