Temple belongs in I-AA - forget about rejoining the Big East
How much pain has to occur before Temple's administration realizes I-A football is just not for them?
With all 12 Atlantic 10 football teams joining the Colonial Athletic Association next season, six schools will be in the CAA for football only. IMO, the next realignment will occur when these six football only schools leave the CAA. At that point, Temple will be asked to join them - and they just might.

Its sad really to see them like this. However, I still believe that Al Golden will prove to be there Schiano in time. Though I think they will have even more of an uphill climb having to deal with Pitt, Maryland, WVU, Rutgers, Penn State, and Connecticut all in there backyard.

I agree. Threads like this make me groan and there was really no reason to post it here. Whatever fans Temple has here mostly frequent the MAC board anyway so this is not the place to reach them.
Temple needs to time to see if their new administration can get it right. New administrations can work wonders. Look at what's happened to Rutgers since Mulcahy and Schiano took over the program.
Nobody knows what the future will hold but everyone with any power keeps saying there will be no split and no expansion until the new contract is seen through. Some people refuse to listen to them.

Lolly, agree completely. McCormick too has been very supportive of what the football program has been doing. Remember good athletic teams bring in money and can be good recruiting tools for attracting high-end students.
