The final word on USF scheduling?
It seems that USF has had discussions with Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech (confirmed by USF's SID) as well as Southern Miss, Tulane (who I'd love to play since we never played them as C-USA members), Houston, Rice, Army and Navy. Also, for all the grief about a potential deal with Western Kentucky, it seems that it's a 2 for 1 and is apparently contingent on them getting approval to move to I-A (decision due in November).

It sure looks like USF is trying to move on with their future instead of worrying about who others view as their rivals. At the very least, we're one game away from having a full dance card in 2009, and the only Knights that will likely be on the schedule will be Rutgers...

Thanks....but the bottom line is that USF should be allowed to schedule who we want. Thus while I personally feel there is some value in scheduling the Clown College in Orlando, they nor anyone else have a right to dictate USF's schedule.

Personally, I hope USF uses common sense when scheduling these games. There is nothing to be gained from overscheduling as long as computers and media hacks are in charge of ranking teams and selecting a national champion(s).

Is really sad what has happened to Temple. I really thought that they would turn it around when they had their prvious coach but it seem to not go anywhere.
Not sure if it was the administration. Being in a big city with pro-teams if your team doesnt win it will not draw.
Hope you guys turn it around.
