RE: The final polls
It's basically no respect for the AAC at all. Oh well that changes next year just like our football schedule. From now on if we continue to succeed like we have, it's football playoffs and #1 seeds.
Let's just beat then ALL.
Flossy out...

The NCAA tournament committee hates weak SOS, which is what killed UL's seeding and SMU's bid. UL is probably the best team in the country, but the tournament committee didn't care. Expect the same from the CFP selection committee.

RE: The final polls
I just don't understand the whole obsession with out of conference strength of schedule... so some schools get credit for a stiffer SOS, even when they didn't win a majority of those tough games... I mean some of the at-large bids have 10-13 loses. I was surprised when SMU was left out, after all they were a top 25 program at the time of the selection -- I can't remember the last time a school in the top 25 was left out (without post season bans). Otherwise a lot of the surprise is gone with all the bracketology/bubble discussion the final two weeks on tv.
After I watched the head of the selection committee on CBS, then I got angry... he'd say it was the whole body of work when discussing one school and then say, well it was down the stretch or their conference tourney performance that secured bids etc... well what is it, the body of work, or the last two weeks... cause if its the last two weeks for some, then Louisville is an f'n 1 seed... I dunno lost a lot of the respect for the committee listing to him flip flop from example to example.
