Way to go Cuse! 3-2 nice improvement. Robinson isn't so bad afterall I'd say. Keeping us better than the MWC head to head too.

I'll admit I didn't see it live, only on gamecast. HOW IN THE HECK DID SYRUPCUSE WIN THAT GAME? Just looking at the statistics makes me wonder how Wyoming didn't win by 3-4 touchdowns. How did Syrupcuse score 40? But hey, a win is a win. Congrats SU!

Who here thinks I hate Syrupcuse? I've never once said I hate Syrupcuse. They are the least interesting BEast team to me, but I still hope they succeed. I just am honest about what I think and like to stir the pot. The conference would be boring if we all held hands and batted our eyes at each other. You need some loving bullies who'll hold your hand and squeeze until you say uncle.

Now half-way to bowl eligibility. Suck it, haters
No one on this board hates on the Orange-(except ArmyMike and he is not serious). Most of the Syracuse/Big East hate comes from the Syracuse fans on the Syracuse Rivals Board.
Exactly. Syracuse has some issues. Wyoming flat out DOMINATED that game statistically. A half way decent team blows Syracuse out of the water. That's why I'm shaky on them right now. But a win is a win, and 3-2 is 3-2 and that is very impressive considering where they came from. I would take 3-2 with the Bearcats! ;-)

We know Mike, I said you were not serious with them. And believe me if you go to the UofL-WVU Rivals or Scout Boards or the WVU-Pitt boards you will not see any holding of hands.

Geez, I was relaxing and hoping UC could pull away, now we're trying to give Miami the game back!

Come October 21 we get Louisville in the Carrier Dome, I think it will be a night game. I look foward to that day so SU can gutstump the Cards, SU plays there best at the Dome and that UofL game attendence could be at 46K

Not according to Archbold Zak, Townie and the other SU cronies on the Syracuse Rivals Board. According to them SU fans aren't interested in playing schools like Louisville.

I like Syracuse but they're going to have some trouble with Louisville. Didn't Louisville run Syracuse out of the Dome back in 2003? And Cincinnati beat them there last year. Until Robinson and his coaching staff step it up the Dome's advantages are going to be nullified.
Bearcats leading Miami-OH 24-10 about midway through the 4th.

I'm going to look like a Prophet on 10/22, I feel even better seeing SU play Iowa to the wire. I know I will be in the Dome to root the Orange on to off the upset that day ;-)

Not yet. Very happy to have it back though! A solid week for the Big East with the big dogs off today (Louisville and West Virginia off, Rutgers having played Friday).

In 2003 Louisville beat the Cuse by 10 points in the dome. I dont have any delusions of Cuse beating Louisville in the Dome or anywhere else this year, but it will be a good game as it was last year at Papa Johns until late in the 4th quarter. This year, I think our offense will be a little better. Louisville will still be favored by at least 3 Touchdowns. I will be at that game. As for the Bearcats, we will be playing at your place, and I am sure that you will have an even tougher time at your place this year than you did at the Dome.
I am actually gaining some confidence in what Coach Robinson is trying to do. I see the team is improving every week. At least the offense is. The defense needs more work. They dont seem to be making much progress, and seem to be not nearly as effective as last season. I am willing to see him get the necessary time to implement his system fully. Judging by the results of the MSU game at Illinois, I like the Cuse's chances against Pitt in the Dome. It probbaly wont be good for the Cuse to beat Pitt, but that could possibly be our best chance of beating a decent team this year.
GO CUSE
Go Coach Rob
Go Big East.

Syracuse will have a tougher time against UC at Nippert as well, UC plays MUCH better at home. But Syracuse is improving, there's no doubt about that. I don't know about Syracuse beating Pitt won't be good, I'm assuming you mean for the league. I think this league is good enough now where we can beat each other up a little bit. With 3 ranked teams I think it speaks for itself. What we need is for the Big East to finish the season with 2 or 3 ranked teams, one in the Top 10, the other in the Top 20 and another at least on the fringes, finish with about 5 teams with winning records and a team or two with a .500 record, shore up the bowls and the solid records and work from their. That'll help recruiting in a major way.
