There aren't many years when your MBB can put up three banners on the arena ceiling. But we did this year in our last in CUSA. That would be banner for (1) co-CUSA regular season champs (2) CUSA Tournament Champs and (3) NCAA tournament second round.

Now if we could start doing that in the AAC, we will travel to new heights. And with the young team we have coming back for the next two years, it is possible.

But the best thing about this season was that it took everyones mind off last years miserable FB season.

It got some basketball fans back to believing Tulsa could have a good basketball team.......and you are right, football was hardly mentioned for the last month, which was good!!!!! Now football takes center stage and hopefully there will be a lot of good things to talk about!!!! Now that basketball is over, as far as major sports go, we are also finished with CUSA. Not much sense going to the CUSA board any more......but I'll probably still check it out once in a while!!!

Good point on transferring our attention to the AAC now. I'm pretty sure I'll stop visting that CUSA site as soon as spring FB is over. Our attention should be on next years CFB team and how we recover that program. The only sport left with any relevancy at all this year would be "perhaps" softball (and we have a good'en). But there's very little interest in talking about the so called "spring sports".

Thank goodness we had the MBB season we did! Now lets go win some CFB games next year!
