Lots of Tech fans live in Dallas and Ruston is only a 4 hour drive to Denton. I am guessing at least 5k on the low side will show up. You have a beautiful stadium but parking sucks. I expect some tailgating even thou its a Thursday night. Look forward to whooping the mean green in Denton.

5k on the low side? If La Tech brings that many it will be a sell out. Apogee only holds 30k, and UNT has a really good and supportive season ticket base. I hope you're right!

love to have 5k show up...that would be awesome! parking isn't bad at all for visitors. parking will be at fouts and you just cross the bridge...easy...about the same distance as the parking that we had at la tech this year (by the baseball field)

and to think that used to be the mean green club member parking for fouts field...we've come a long way since then...luckily, we have plenty of green space at apogee...

the tailgating is much better now...but we still have a long way to go...

I'm was in for sure, but now I'm debating if I should go on a Thursday night or just catch it on TV. I wish our games that I can't go to were televised instead of the ones I can go to.

how many season ticket holders does UNT have? I don't think they have all that many, but they will be top 3 in CUSA for student attendance next year.

I'll be taking the day off from work for this game. Hopefully, the HOD win will translate into more season ticket holders. We should see a full student section at the game. They really show up. We got 22,000 out for the Rice game last season. I'm sure our goal is to top that. This is great news. I hope we have a really good game and Fox 1 considers adding more C-USA games on Saturdays.

FS1 is a great grab. Hopefully it will pan out successfully in the long run for UNT

UNT has great potential when it comes to season tickets. I don't know if it is true, but i have heard that between 80% and 90% of UNT alumni live in DFW.


UTSA had just over 14k season ticket sold.

It's something like 100,000 alumni in the area...Unfortunately it hasn't translated to huge attendance numbers...Fouts was a wasteland for games...Dodge effed us up...the base is growing...that's all we can hope for. ..

5k in sold season tickets and you can add in the "go to every game" crowd that don't buy season tickets... That's not a terrible number. Plus, UNT seems to get over 20k game in and game out.
