Everyone was so animated. Even my neighbor who usually sits with his arms crossed was making noise. I've been to other womens bkb games but this one outdid them all. Let me tell you: It was fun.You would have thought we had won the ncaa nat'l championship. Ha.

I'll never forget the first truly huge women's crowd I saw at MT when we hosted #1 Maryland and were in a hell of a game right up to the end.

That was one of the better atmospheres I've seen for any game, that was when I realized how good WBB can be. Sounds like you guys are having a blast.

I always enjoy watching the women's games, it also seems like women are better free throw shooters than the men. not sure why

UTEP confirmed that if (IF) they win tomorrow, they will bid to host the championship in Las Cruces at Pan Am.

My daughter was at the ticket center this morning to get 15 tickets for tomorrow and they told her that there was only 1,200 tickets left. Are you serious? So they sold nearly 11,000 tickets between last night and this morning? Not sure if I can believe that though

Wouldn't surprise me. For the NIT type tourneys these tix sell FAST. People really start to pay attention -- I bet a lot of those "sold" are holdouts for students / groups, too, and you can bet they will be used.

Just called the ticket center and is getting close to a sell out.
For sure it will be sold out.
Coach Adams will get her dream come true, sell out the Don.

Go Miners...

Bob Stull said that as of 4 pm today, over 9,000 tickets have been sold with 2 hours left to buy today at the ticket center. So that leaves less than 2,000 tickets left. I think it will be a sellout.

Reports are that UTEP and Rev. Graham have agree to change campus venues if the ladies win tomorrow, so we'd be able to host at the DHC.

Very classy move.

Excitement? Women's basketball? Impossible. [/sarcasm]
