2015 Bracketology
Here's Joe's early projections for next year's tournament:

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology

ACC teams:
2. Duke
2. Virginia
3. North Carolina
3. Louisville
4. Pittsburgh
7. Syracuse
8. Clemson
9. Florida State

8 teams are projected which would be great with five in the top 4 seed lines. Hopefully he's right and the ACC has a big rebound year.

Gotta believe GT & NC State will both have openings after next season if this plays out that way.

How long before Miami is back in the mix? I don't think last year was a fluke.

Why would NC State? They've been in the tourney 3 straight years.

Last year wasn't a fluke. They'll continue to be good as long as they have Jim LarraƱaga as a head coach. It may take them more than 1 year to rebuild after losing 5 seniors though.

I was DEAD wrong on Boston College this last season but I believe Miami will be the surprise team in the league this year and sneak in the tourney. Clemson should be in if McDaniels stays.

No we will not have an opening if we have a bad year next year.

We had the youngest team in the league this year and while we are losing a great player, there is no reason at all to think next year's team will be any worse than an 18-21 win team. Our guard play last year was limited by one who physically too small and slow to defend, and one that was a rookie. Our defense last year was spotty early on and at times other players just watched the ACC player of the year score.
