Really...most states let you get a voter id for free. Even in Texas.

you missed the whole part where the $25 figure was an example of how much someone would need to pay to get a replacement BC in order to get that free ID. it takes ID to get an ID dude.

It's your right to vote, but to vote, it's your responsibility to go vote, nobody does it for you. If you have to show identification to get other services why not to vote? If people don't have an ID, how do they have water and electricity at their house?

If you tell your employer, hey I'm going to vote in the morning before my shift, they're very lenient on you being late, but 6 hours to vote is laughable. Sounds like you've never exercised your right.

Well I think I had to have a SS card to get hired and a DL to be on the company car insurance.. I don't know, I've been lucky for the last 7 years not to have to look for employment.

There were people the DAY before an election in Miami having to wait 8 hours.. But then again, your using this argument for not having voter ID.
