The Williamsburg Christian Academy product had another breakout season this winter, guiding the Eagles to the Virginia Independent State Athletic Association Division 2 state semifinals. He averaged 19 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for the Eagles and eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau for his career. Green was named Metro Conference Player of the Year and was a first-team, all-state selection.
As a sophomore, Green average 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists in his first full season at WCA after transferring from Jamestown High. He earned Metro Conference honors and led the Eagles to state tournament berth.
Green now holds offers from Hampton, James Madison, Mount St. Mary’s, Longwood and Old Dominion. He’s also received strong interest from Virginia, Clemson, Wake Forest, Providence, Maryland, Virginia Commonwealth University, Xavier and Creighton.
”Coaches love his versatility and hi ability to play three different positions,” said WCA coach Chris Gann. “They like the way he impacts the game on both ends. He can guard multiple positions on defense and makes others better on offense with his playmaking. He’s a great team guy and wants to win first, over stats.
