We are scheduled to speak to John Swofford today on my radio show here in Louisville. I asking about the latest on the ACC network and where the 9-game conference schedule stands, etc. Is there anything you think I should ask him?

What happened to the B12 scheduling agreement?

Boxers or briefs?

What is going on with the ACC network?

Any thoughts about revisiting Louisville's "permanent" rivals? UVA as a permanent crossover in football and as one of 2 permanent rivals in basketball seems like a stretch.

Football may be addressed if divisions are eliminated. But in basketball, Pitt and Syracuse might would more sense (to accommodate this you'd need to break up ND-GT and make UVA-GT and ND-Pitt permanent).

If the championship games are deregulated are you going to go to a 3 rival system? If so, what's the process for setting up those rivalries?

With the impending separation of the P5 from the rest of the conferences, is there any animosity between the Commissioners?

If the ACC sticks with the 8 game schedule, would you pursue a scheduling agreement with just one other conference or multiple conferences?

Besides determining teams for a football championship does doing away with divisions have any other benefits? Will it also apply to any other sports?

I want to know if the 3 rival system is going to go through once the NCAA deregulates the championship games. See if the moron is going to the right thing for once.

Will the ACC consider expanding to 16 teams in the near future?

Only two sports have divisions....football and baseball.

...and has there been much progress on the SEC scheduling agreement that both he and Mike Slive have mentioned recently?

Also, has the ACC discussed setting up their own neutral-site kick-off game, perhaps in Charlotte, like the SEC has in Atlanta with the Chick-Fil-A kick-off game?

My top 5 questions:

1. How close is the revised championship legislation to getting passed? If it does get passed, is the ACC going division-less with a 3 permanent rival + 5 rotating opponent schedule?

2. Any discussion about redoing basketball rivals with the loss of Maryland and the addition of Louisville? Something along these lines seems to make more sense.

Boston College: Syracuse and Notre Dame
Syracuse: Boston College and Louisville
Louisville: Pittsburgh and Syracuse
Pittsburgh: Louisville and Notre Dame
Notre Dame: Pittsburgh and Boston College
Virginia: Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech: Clemson and Virginia

3. Have there been any conversations between UofL and the ACC about the Cardinals sponsoring a men's LAX team (and a women's gymnastic team if Title IX is an issue)?

4. What is the status of the ACC network?

5. Is the ACC still exploring scheduling agreement with the SEC (8+1 model)? Would the conference exploring scheduling agreements with multiple conferences?

Would you support a 2 or 3 year minimum for men's basketball like we have with baseball and football?

Is there an amount the ACC would accept from Maryland to settle the lawsuit?

How big of an asset is Tom Jurich to the ACC? We speak of model programs and people/institutions we would like to emulate. What can the University of Louisville teach the other programs in the ACC?
