Add Mike Hamrick to the list. He made it very clear today (with purpose) that the job was only offered to two people. Mike first and then Dan.

Don't get me wrong...I fully believed Hamrick. But Neubauer's statement is much more damming to Landon's credibility. It's almost libelous.

It not only makes Marshall look bush league, it makes him and the Herald Dispatch look bush league. The guy is not professional at all. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see him get fired over this one.
I think WVU and Marshall fans alike agree the guy should be canned. Lets hope it happens

I don't like seeing anyone lose their job but this might be one time that he stepped to far over the boundary if you know what I mean. Take a look at these quotes from Hamrick. Doesn't sound good for Landon going forward:
http://www.goherd.com/basketball/2197-ha...i-brothers
Herald-Dispatch columnist Chuck Landon painted a picture of missteps, calls to the coach of EKU - John Neubauer - who was coming to Huntington to sign paperwork to be the next coach, and then reportedly called by Dr. Stephen Kopp, the President of Marshall University after being pressured by a booster, and then telling Neubauer MU was going another way, but calling him at the 11th hour for one more offer of the job, which he then turned down. Paul Underwood of SF Austin was also supposedly offered the job, but reported as using Marshall to "pressure" Southern Miss or Missouri into hiring him.
Neubauer, by the way, released a statement about the story being false as well on Friday, saying on Twitter from Michael Grant of the Lexington Courier-Journal, "EKU coach Jeff Neubauer has responded to the article in The Herald-Dispatch: "Everything in (the) article about me is pure fiction.[
Later, away from the crowds with four or five media members surrounding him towards the end of the event in the Marshall Memorial Student Center, Hamrick talked more directly about the article in the Friday morning edition of The Herald-Dispatch, that had a litany of mistakes made by Marshall in the hiring of D'Antoni. The column also talked of coaches at Eastern Kentucky University and Stephen F. Austin University who were offered the job, and Hamrick was blunt about the misinformation.
Totally, 100 percent inaccurate," Hamrick said of the other offers on the MU job. "Nothing that was printed today was true. The job was offered to two people, no one else. The job was offered to Mike and Danny D'Antoni, and what I read today - I was stunned, I was stunned. I got calls from people on the other end of that, who were stunned. Totally inaccurate, totally false and that's all I have to say....

Love it!!
Landon is just trying to make himself relevant, and is too stupid to know that his time has gone by.
