Checkmate AAC
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketba...s-matchups

Fans can look forward to two mega-matchups in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Dec. 5, with Texas traveling to face Kentucky and Florida on the road at Kansas.

The pairings were announced Wednesday afternoon. The 2014 SEC/Big 12 Challenge will air on the ESPN family of networks from Dec. 3 to Dec. 6.

AAC is out of options for a BB conference vs conference series. (i doubt the pac has an interest)

#Obsessed

I'd worry more about Cuse's non-conference schedule if I were you.

Once you get past Uconn and Memphis the AAC really has no teams that other conferneces want to play or would generate some excitement.

You left out Cincy tool and all three generate more interest than Rutgers.

Sorry Cincy is boring, they dont move the needle for other fanbases other than Xavier.

i woulda said that in the OP but uconn fans take it way to personally when I give an honest assessment of their own problems.

while i doubt the top 5 of the AAC is what is causing problems for the AAC not finding a conference challenge the bottom 5 is clearly the problem.

There are also only 3.5 worthwhile programs for UCONN to play in the ACC.

Isn't Larry Brown lining up top recruits at SMU?

Saw that shi+ coming from a mile away. He isn't commenting on talent. He's talking about notoriety. Cincy is good, but fans of teams in other conferences aren't demanding to see home and home series with them. Once past UConn and Memphis, the AAC doesn't have any teams that move the excitement needle for fans of other schools. Sorry, but sometimes the truth is the truth.

Our schedule next year looks fine, but thank you for your concern.

In what sense? The Big Ten is playing two, one against the ACC, one against the Big East. Surely the ACC, SEC or Big12 could play a second, if they wanted to.

This would seem to be a red herring lead in aimed at talking down AAC BBall.

Nothing like a butthurt Syracuse basketball fan. UCONN is in a class with UNC, Duke, and Louisville. Truth hurts.

We didn't have a conference challenge this year and still managed to get 4 teams in the tournament (should have been 5) and one of them won the whole thing. We have every basketball game on national TV. Do we really need a conference challenge? I think we are probably better off playing the best teams we can schedule and let someone else get stuck having to play a crap team because the league signed on to do a "conference challenge".

Nothing trolling about it. I'm sure most Duke, UNC, and Louisville fans on here would say the same.
