How the 12 team 2 division rule came about

D2 started all this and because at that time any rule place there applied to all 3 divisions.

Interesting stuff though because at the time no conference had more than 10 teams and wasn't a big deal to the D1-A conferences.


My favorite line: "We were Division II," Yoder said. "Nobody really cared."
