Every single team in Group G, including the United States, is weakest on the back line. The way to get out of this group is to protect our back four with Beckerman, push the counter attack on the wings with guys like Fabian Johnson, and win possession back as quickly as possible when we turn it over. These are all things that we were successful with during the three lead in games, and its the way to get a win against Ghana, a win/tie against Portugal, and keep it respectable against Germany. I think we'll get out of the group, but I won't be surprised if we don't. I'm honestly just glad we aren't playing any South American teams in the group. I think they'll be more difficult in this World Cup than any of the European teams, including reigning, and aging, cup champion Spain.

I'm thinking about buying one and going to the State-USM game with it. Hey, they said artificial noisemakers are okay.

Lol, that would be cool. There are a couple of people at our UTSA football games who've snuck them into the Alamodome. I know because I've heard them. I tried to take mine to a Houston Dynamo MLS match last season and they didn't let me take it in. Surprised me. Had to walk all the way back to my car a couple blocks away and put it back. Oh well.
Unfortunately I switched jobs recently and I am not going to the world cup. My son, brother and mother are arriving in Natal tonight!!!!
I sold my ticket to some girl who works with my brother, and my dumb ass brother decided to start dating her before the wc... So now he has a bunch of brazilian women around him and he can't do a damn thing. What a dumb ass!!!

I thnk the opposite, Bazil could go down. Put one in their own net, got a gift from the ref and one just into stoppage time. Bazil was luck not to end that game in a 1-1 tie.
BTW, I didn't realize Lebron was play in to games today, Bazil and for the heat.
Brazil was not good today but they have finishers which can turn a so-so day into a 3-1 win. On the flip side, Team USA would have to play the game of their lives to beat anyone 3-1 in this group.
If Brazil actually plays well, they could be scary. FWIW, I don't believe they are the best team, maybe the third or fourth but Neymar is special and being at home counts for something.
