Fifth Third Arena

The arena has a new floor this year (not the one in the picture) that has simplified graphics - just a C-paw in the middle.

Well, Freedom Hall's officially listed capacity has been 18,665 ever since a renovation and expansion 20+ years ago. However, we normally average 19,000+ and can get about 20,100 in for big games.

The Louis Brown Athletic Center better known as the RAC
Piscataway, NJ - Official Capacity 8,000 but I believe it may have been raised to 8,300 recently.
Consistently known as one of the loudest arenas in the nation and one of the hardest places to play on the road.

UConn basketball actually takes place in two separate arenas: the Hartford Civic Center (Downtown Hartford) and Gampel Pavilion (On Campus)

One of the reasons for this is that UConn Women also sellout most of their games and they sometimes need a larger venue. Gampel is 10,000 and HCC is 16,500.

Another reason is to accomodate TV. Bigger games usually get moved to downtown, but not always.

FWIW...here's a link to UCF's new 10,000 seat Basketball Arena/Convocation Center that will be opening up next Fall.

It's just another piece in UCF's new $300 Million Athletic Village Complex.

But soon we'll have an arena that seats a whopping 1000 or so more....but it'll be state of the arts. 03-yawn
