Big Big props to Rutgers. Its just very concerning as a fan to watch my team blow games like this 3 years in a row. Not only that but its the way we get beat that is discouraging. Its hard for me to blame the players when its the coach's job to make sure his team can match the other's team intensity. Rutgers certainly won the "heart" battle last night. I give them the same props I gave WVU last year. The game is played for 4 quarters and I have yet to see us play 4 great quarters of smash mouth football on the road.

I've said this before, this team has a problem with getting complacent on the road. Rutgers is a great football team and they played hard "every" single down even when they were down. Louisville didn't show the heart of a champion. You have to be able to weather the storm in front of hostile crowds on the road. WE still have alot to prove and that is one area where if we ever expect to reach the National championship we have to play intense all 4 quarters specifically on the road. Its cool that we can get up at home for Miami, Kentucky, WVU all that is fine and dandy but if you can't bring it every down then you are going to lose.

We didn't have that killer instinct last night. That game played out the same exact way the WVU game played last year. Our coaching staff just has to do a better job of keeping our players focused. That was my only beef with the whole game. I knew Rutgers was going to bring it, this was "there" game.

With all that said as upset as I was about the loss I was just as equally happy for Rutgers. Seeing a fan base suffer like that for so long itching for that big win, they got one last night. They won with class and they played inspired football. One of the best college stories I've seen in quite a while. My hat is off to Coach Schiano and his players. You can tell they wanted it and you can see how animated Schiano was. That was a game they deserved to win. To come from 18 down against a Team who has pretty much played well all season is a testament to there character and poise. Helluva game plan and execution. Congrats!!!!

Sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade. We had our night against WVU. I've tasted that victory as a fan and it feels good. I hate the agony of defeat, but I've been on the other side where Rutgers fans our now. I know it feels good and I'm happy for the school and for there fans. They deserve it.

I am a huge BE and Big 10 fan. While watching the game last night, I thought about how much Ray Rice reminds me of Mike Hart at Michigan. They both are runners that really grind out the tough yards. It is always nice to see college football players of their caliber. A player like Ray Rice makes college football what it is today. Good luck with the rest of your season Rutgers.

Thanks CardHouse. I know this much we beat one heck of a football team out there last night. And the Big East has much to be excited about with the depth that has started to be put together out there. Three top ten teams, insanity.
