Rutgers and the BE

Watch 'em spin. Goofballs on ESPN listed all one loss teams in the BCS standings this morning, discussing which one loss team should make it to NC game and didn't have Rutgers, WVU or the UoL on the list. Rutgers of course being undefeated.

UoLs loss was bad for BE, good for WVU and great for the Scarlet Knights.

Kudos to Rutgers - the the giant is awake.

If BEast teams keep winning, the BCS can go jump in a frozen lake. The one in hell that has just frozen over will do nicely. lmfao

The ESPN guys last night were VERY complimentary of The Big East. My roommate, who is a VPI grad, told me after the game last night "I don't think you need to worry anymore about the Big East's perception, seriously."

While watching the replay later on. I noticed Herbstreit said something about seriously its time to lay off the Big East, this is the new power conference being made here. This conference has proved its for real.

I didn't get to watch ESPN last night; listened to the game on Sirius radio. What I am refering to I saw this morning on ESPN.

FYI...all ESPN Guys this afternoon on Outside-the-Lines (Mark May was one of them)...all of them predicted the winner of OSU/Michigan will take on either Texas, USC, or Auburn.

No one mentioned any Big East Team.

Probably because the highest ranked Big East team will be around 8th while Texas, USC, Florida and Auburn will be between 3-6 if they win this week.

time to start rooting for upsets
It's time to start rooting for some of these so-called "big boys" to suffer a string of upsets. That's the only thing that will convince these blabbering boobs that they're not as great as they think. Hopefully if Rutgers and West Virginia stay unbeaten until December 2, the same day as the Big 12 and SEC money making, uh that is, championship games, the Big East team will get a boost from being on the same stage as those others. Even better if all the higher ranked teams get knocked off on that day.
