The ACC may well become the best conference all-around before long.

Already have a waiting list for Football as season tickets are sold out. Kentucky averages 65000 for home games and some of Them have Louisville tickets also. The State loves Big time College Football so I can see stadium expansion to around 60 to 65000 in a few years easily with ACC Affiliation.

It is at 55K right now....the most I would want to see is 62-63K....focus on improving the in stadium experience...work on the WiFi...Video Board...sound system...restroom access and increase even more the concession stands.

Most especially the younger generation the in home experience now is hard to best....just look at attendance across the nation.

Based on what? Legitimate question.

There are 3 conferences that pretty even lay claim to that distinction. I don't foresee any of them distancing themselves from the other two.

So is the Commonwealth of Kentucky now an SEC state or an ACC state? I don't follow the rivalry between the two schools, but historically I imagine Wildcat fans have "looked down" on the University of Louisville (although recently you've had much better FB/BB programs). What is the perception of UL in Lexington now that you've joined the ACC? Do they see you as a threat; are they spiteful, or are they just indifferent?

Outside of the Louisville Metro Area it is Deep Blue...Louisville itself is roughly 65% 35% Red over Blue....The rest of the Commonwealth of Kentucky outside of Louisville Metro still resent the University of Louisville and the city of Louisville itself-(even though the city pretty much is the tax base for the rest of the Commonwealth)...

A few years ago, my wife and I did some volunteer work in Eastern Kentucky. We found lots of "houses" (er, shacks) about to literally fall down, and many people who worked in coal mines but couldn't read. Occasionally you'd see the brick home of a foreman on top of a mountain, overlooking the miners homes below. It's a 3rd world country inside the United States.

Yes, because clearly the impoverished people in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky played into the ACC's decision to invite Louisville. Let's ignore the fact that it's the opposite side of the state and you have counties in the mountains where the breakdown is for every 1,000 UK fans you may have 5-10 UofL fans.

I love the playing dumb act here. Anyone with an IQ above 40 that follows college sports knows most counties outside the Louisville metro area are pro-UK.

I'm sure those rural counties in Eastern KY with 20,000 residents and a median household income of $17,000 where almost half of the residents live below the poverty line are a huge boon for UK merchandise sales and and ticket donations.

Ironically, most counties outside of the Tallahassee area are either pro-Gators (N. Florida) or pro-Canes (S. Florida). That doesn't mean FSU doesn't have good fan support, though.

Quit being a d1ck...give it a rest. Louisville and their fans deserve a grace period before the attacks. They had to put up with crap from the AAC and their new members.

He can be himself if that is how he gets his jollies....I find it comical...just a FSU Internet Fan...in the grand scheme not that important....in other words...whatever...07-coffee3

It's a simple question. No UL fan seems to be overly distraught by it. Leave it to some derpy Cuse fan to get their panties in a wad, though. Typical.

Oh, and what do you mean by "just an internet fan"? Better not be using that in the same manner that it's used in regards to most UM fans.

Instead of just laughing at you for that last bit, I'll post some actual figures.

Public Policy Polling:

2011: UF 26%, FSU 21%, UCF 11%, UM 11%, USF 8%
2013: UF 24%, FSU 22%, UM 12%, UCF 9%, USF 2%, FAU 2%, FIU 2% (late September)
2014: UF 22%, FSU 19%, UCF 11%, UM 10%, FAU 5%, USF 4%

RE: It's official.
Eastern Kentucky has a lot of great and passionate people living there. They biggest issue is limited access to anything. Towns are far in between seperate by hills and roads needing constant work because of large trucks that are overweight tearing the roads apart.it is sometimes a half a days journey to go shopping miles away. Families have stayed in the areas for generations but seem to wind up in Chicago or New York city when They do leave. Similar to West Virginia by nature. Most folks make do with what They have and few complain. Industry has come and gone over seas leaving the Coal mines as one source of income but many are still are beholden to company stores that put a damper on personal growth. It is a different world in that part of Kentucky. There really isn't enough quality land space available to build infrastructure to support economic growth in that region due to the nature of the Appalachian mountains. Tennessee built onTourism in East Tennessee to help the local economy there and maybe Kentucky should have followed suit but instead went with coal.
