I'm excited to see design concepts. I could see a combination of brick and aluminum.

Gosh, that FAU stadium looks awfully steep in the upper section. The older I get the less I like that. I almost had a panic attack at the JMU game That second level felt like the nose bleed third level at the Dump in Richmond!

What is the capacity of FAU's stadium? I'm thinking of going down for the game this year.

The FAU stadium looks very nice. I see ODU with more sky boxes.

RE: Stadium naming rights
My brother graduated from Baylor after four years on a full ride football scholarship. I can tell you that Baylor alumni are really excited about the new stadium and the current state of Baylor football. Though I am not an ODU alumnus (though between my two daughters, I have 18 semesters invested in "our" university), my sense is that Monarch alumni rank right up there with the Baylor folks in term of program support and excitement. It is truly a good time to be a Monarch fan, and I cannot wait to see the new stadium come to life

If only i have started my own enterprise on bigdata back in 2007 i would've had enough money to contribute for the Jungle. I wish one or some sort of partnership spin of the fortune 500 guys smithfield, dollar tree or norfolk southern will go ahead and make this donation thing happen. I hope the school will grant the sewer system contract to JMU grads because they are good at taking crap.

We just need a speaker system in every stall:
"This toilet flush sponsored by James Madison University, our team plays against a local flag football team as halftime entertainment!"

Norfolk Southern Stadium gets my vote. Not only is it local, it's in very close proximity to the new stadium and the branding is in the name itself--Norfolk. That's what we're selling.

LOL I laugh because of my own true story of unknown possibilities of success. Before the social media era, Christmas break of 1997 until 1999 spring break. My early teen years, the good ol days! A friend and I had created a website using angelfire called J&J aka JoeJake Jibberish. Our friends would allow us to scan their picture and write a short profile of them. We had nightly chat and had personal walls you could write on. We got up to over 150 people from GB and Hickory mostly friends. We called it the PartyChat. Long story short, we got busted by a few teachers because some friends would access the website at school and some heat from a local political figure whose daughter went to school with us. What could have been!

This development is significant in that Dollar Tree is now the largest Fortune 500 company in the area...
Dollar General just outbid Dollar Tree by 1.2 billion dollars.
http://money.cnn.com/2014/08/18/news/com...?hpt=hp_t2
I really hope Dollar General's bid fails.
Dollar Tree and Family Dollar do not really compete with each other much as they are different business models and serve different markets. Family Dollar mostly serves inner city and rural areas. Dollar Tree is mostly in the suburbs.
Family Dollar and Dollar General are basically identical and it would likely be very bad for Charlotte if that deal goes through. Job losses would be minimal with the Dollar Tree deal.
