While changing CDs for Volume 2 of William Manchester's biography of Churchill, I briefly heard a young girl saying something with hideous noise in the background, and the something she was saying were insults of our new player.

Then I realized it was Chris Vernon and was not important.

Vanderbilt's leading scorer 2 years ago who will be on the Memphis team this year. He is a true point guard but bigger than most, maybe 6'5" 220. He was not allowed in school at Vanderbilt last year for something that happened. As another poster mentioned there wouldn't have been any problems at most every other school but Vandy has a little stricter rules than most. Because he didn't play last year he should be eligible with 2 years remaining.
