Interesting Article on Marshall
Interesting article on the turmoil within Marshall's 2014 recruiting class. I know ODU lost quite a few guys, but Marshall lost 8 of their top 12 guys.

4 of them got released (non-qualifiers) and another 4 are with the team but cannot play because they aren't academically eligible.

I'm sure they're concerned with your opinion as I know everyone on this board clearly is.

Thanks for contributing.

RE: Interesting Article on Marshall
It is quite an advantage on the field to take non qualifiers. Seems conferences would mandate that teams all recruit by the same rules though. Marshall does, we dont. Not sure about the rest of CUSA. The A10 takes them in hoops and its helped raise their profile through wins on the court. There are pros and cons to it obviously, but seems there are more pros for athletics. Academics, obviously is a negative.

I've been told from a local parent that ODU is harder to qualify for as a football player than many of the other state institutions. My guess is that Wilder is not messing around with APR being that this program is so new, it would bury the program.
