It'll be interesting to see if we return to home dominance under Petrino. Cards were 41-9 at home with Bobby in Round 1. Kraggy stunk home and away and then the odd thing is that under Strong, Louisville was better on the road. How often do you have a four year run where against FBS opponents a team is only 14-9 at home but 19-6 road/neutral.

The team seemed to lack focus in home games under Charlie so I hope to see that turned around Monday night!

That's funny coming from a Louisville fan that lost to a Sun Belt team back in 2011...or should I recall?

Even though FIU was 8-5 in 2011, it was just as pathetic when Louisville dropped that game as well.

Well a loss is a loss, so not much you can say there. I'm a straight shooter and I will say this, the perception of the Sun Belt shows the ignorance in fans who have no knowledge of any team from the Sun Belt. I'm talking about TROY, UL-Lafayette, Arkansas State..

Clawson has a decent class coming in and they have a ton of Fr and Soph on the depth chart. Just going to take a year or so for Clawson to get things going.

For our Louisville friend who wants to kick them out....just remember that in a year or so when the Deacs jump up and bite you. They might never challenge for a playoff spot, but unlike the other three NC schools Wake at least does more than pay lip service to football.

If you are going to put down UNC, NC State, and Duke, at least do it with some facts other than jaded opinion.

Here are the facts:http://ope.ed.gov/athletics/InstList.aspx

Clemson Football Revenue $41 million, and you spend 49% of that or $20 million on football, and you women's programs is funded at just 23% of your football revenue.

The Gamecocks Football Revenue is $49 million, and like you spend 49% of that revenue on football, and fund their women's program at 26%

NC State's football Revenue is just $32 million, and they spend 58% of that or 18.4 million on football and fund the women's programs at 33% of football revenue.

UNC made $31 million and spent just $16 million or 52% of their revenue from the football program on the football program, and funded their women's programs at 41% of football revenue.

Duke made just $24 million from football and spent $19.2 or 80% of their football money on football, and they funded their women's teams at 67% of their football revenue.

WF made just $15 million from football and spent 93% of that on the program or $14 million but funded their women's program at 57% of football revenue.

None of this includes capital projects like the new indoor practice facilities at State or WF, and IIRC Clemson has or is doing something new as well.

Now when it comes to revenue in the two states:

SC $49 million, spends $24 million
CU $41 million, spends $20 million
NCSU $32 million, spends $18.4 million
UNC $31 million, spends $16 million
Duke $24 million, spends $19.2 million
WF $15 million, spends $14 million

You and SC are just putting 50% back into football on an annual basis and you consider that not to be lip service. UNC puts 52% back and that's lip service. NC State puts 58% back and that's lip service. Duke puts 80% back and that's lip service.

Why can't you just admit that the 30,000 seat advantage in your football stadium allows you to raise more money in football and that you can then spend it as you see fit. There are just two college football venues in SC - you and SC and together you seat about 190K. There are 5 major college football venues in NC and they seat 240K - perhaps if there were just two major football teams in NC, they would have 80-90K seat stadiums and have the football money that you seem to think is needed to pay lip service.

Out of curiosity - what to you constitutes not paying lip service? It's can't mean spending half your football income on the sport itself, so what else is to be done to not pay lip service?

So how does Cuse look? I see they are up 10-7 with 5:54 left in the first half.

Terrel Hunt (Syracuse's QB) just got ejected for throwing a punch.

We were driving too when he did that and ended up having 2nd and 19 and got no points because of it.

Embarrassing. Our OC has not learned a thing from last year. Bubble screen after bubble screen. The punch by our QB was his best throw of the half.

Total $hit sandwich so far. Nova was the better team the first half. Pure luck (and fortuitous flags) that we are not down multiple scores.

Oh my god Al Groh is doing color commentary. This game is in serious risk of causing a rift in space time.

Al Groh is hammering Schafer's clock management.

I mean .... that's REALLY bad when Al Groh is blasting your clock management .... and he's actually kinda right.

OMG .... Jesus is in the Carrier Dome.

Villanova choked a PAT + 5 yards ... straight up the gut .... that would have won it with 16 seconds left.

You'd think the Cuse crowd would now rise up to prevent this abomination from continuing. But it is deathly quiet in the Dome.

Villanova's successful playbook:
- QB Sneak
- QB Delay
- QB Zone Read
- QB Bootleg

And it works most of the time. No wonder GT's game against Cuse was such a demolition.
