Pitt's Kiddy Corps
Pitt played 23 players getting their first taste of playing time on Saturday. It breaks down like this:

5 Freshmen
15 RS Freshmen
3 RS Sophomores

Add these to the RS Sophomore who played about 2 halves last season and the 12 Freshmen that played last season.

I expect all this youth will bite us as some point this season, but in a year Pitt may be rounding into a consistent top 25 team. I love what Coach Chryst is doing with the program.

Little doubt that Chryst's players > what he inherited.

We essentially lost all of Todd Graham's recruiting class. Once they realized they didn't fit into the new offense and defense they hit the door.

Other than Isaac Bennett, there are very few left from that class.

Top 25 in 1-AA maybe. Nice win over Delaware. Offsets the loss to Youngstown State, was it?Pitt is consistently one of the most overhyped but underperforming teams in America. Doubt this year will be any different.

How has Pitt been overhyped? Pitt has one of the most realistic fanbases, I think most have predicted 7-5 seasons the last five years or so which is usually what happens.

The schedule is easier this year so I'm hoping for 8-4 but everyone knows that Pitt has flopped against bad teams.

Good luck in the AAC.

Nobody is making Pitt out to be a Top 5, Top 10, or even Top 25 team right now. We're pointing out that a team full of underclassman whooped up on a squad. There's definitely room to grow, and the squad will be tested tomorrow.
