La Tech over No. Texas in a close game
The Pitts will run over FIU
Marshall over Ohio if they play better than their last two
UAB will sweep the floor against The Alabama Farmers
Alabama is too much for improving So.Miss
Tulsa is always tough and will be better than FAU (I hope I'm wrong on
this one)
The Middle of Tennessee will be slightly better than the Western part of
Kentucky
Okie State will run away from Ootsa only because of home field
UTEP will beat Enemas U. in the Sun Bowl and make it 6/7 in a row?
Texas Uglies will dominate Rice at home easily
Charlotte over No. Carolina only because I don't know squat about either

Alabama A&M @ UAB- Easy win
Eastern Michigan @ Old Dominion- EMU needs to drop football
Southern Miss @ Alabama- Just some out healthy
Tulsa @ FAU- Home field gets the edge
Western Kentucky @ Middle Tennessee- See Tulsa @ FAU

Rice @ Texas A&M- See USM @ Alabama
Charlotte @ North Carolina Central

You'll have 3 RB's just as good as Dixon? 04-jawdrop

I looking for this on Thursday night. I would be more worried about our new QB Sokol than our running game if I was UNT

Did you watch the UNT dismantling of SMU? Yes, they have 3 RB's that could be as good as Dixon. SMU was basically getting ridden roughshod over them the entire game...

No I didn't watch the UNT game. I guess we find out for sure in 2 nights.

i actually don't know jacksh!t about emu.

for that matter the only thing i know about odu is you have wood selig or as we called him 'doogie howser a.d.' as your a.d.

i do remember one of your hoops coaches (tom something i believe) chasing jack jennings into the wku locker room after a hotly contested game. he wouldn't say what happened in the locker room but his hair was messed up and he had a big red spot on his face. if i had to hazard a guess i'd say jack dotted his eye for him. note: middle aged men shouldn't tangle with 6'5 river rats like jj was.

but back to me picking emu. i will change that pick to odu to make it unanimous.

rock on monarchs!

p.s. i pick my own team to lose so don't be hurt by my picks. i'm a *******.....on my good days.

LaTech @ UNT 21-38 - Home + momentum
Saturday, Sept. 13
Pitt. @ FIU 43-6 - FIU's offense struggled against FCS, what are they going to do against P5?
Ohio U. @ Marshall 3-34 - a mismatch #1
AAMU @ UAB 3-45 - a mismatch #2
EMU @ ODU 17-31 - Another Directional Michigan school goes down
USM @ 'Bama 0-56 - In case lightning does not intervene
Tulsa @ FAU 20-28 - Assuming Quez and D'Joun Smith are back.
WKU @ MTSU 35-28 - WKU's aerial attack may be a bit too tough for MTSU to defend.
UTSA @ Okla State 17-38 - Okla State impressed me against FSU. Young and hungry.
NMSU @ UTEP 21-34 - Do not be confused by NMSU's 2-0 record.
Rice @ TAMU 14-39 - TAMU's new kid QB is quite good.

I can do that. I'll just add it in RED it was done before as my last post, right after the poll results for the week. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes, Ollie, I do keep track of who out-performs all of us and becomes the king(s) of the pickers. I've been posting it as the final post for the week.
But to recap:

Week 1 winner was: ATTALLABLAZE with 12 correct picks

Week 2 winner was: goldeneagle 21 with 11 correct picks

Cumulative leaders after two weeks (4 -way tie with 21 correct picks). They were:
Cyniclone
CincyDave
Digi368
why49er

I'll continue to post these results as the final post (usually on Sunday) after all games are played.

Final results and "Best Picker" for Week 3. Another good result for C-USA football, who has now improved to 10-0 against G5 competition. Be proud

LaTech- 42 @ North Texas 21: West heats up on a dominating win by the Bulldogs
Pittsburgh - 42 @ FIU -25; Florida's Panthers hung tough for 3 quarters. Lead at half time.
Ohio - 14 @ Marshall - 44; Not really that close. Herd looked dominating.
Alabama A&M -14 @ UAB - 41; Blazer records set on offense.
Eastern Michigan - 3 @
Old Dominion 17; Closer game than expected, but ODU gets it done over the MAC
Southern Miss - 12 @ Alabama -52; Golden Eagles stayed tough through the half.
Tulsa - 21 @ FAU - 50; Solid offensive performance by the Owls
Western Kentucky -47 @ Middle Tennessee - 50; Wow! This really is a rivalry! Neck and neck the whole way!
UTSA - 13 @ Oklahoma State - 43; 7:00 ET; Cowboys just too much for the Runners.
New Mexico State - 24 @ UTEP 42 Miners rush to solid victory.
Rice - 10 @ Texas A&M - 38; Owls played well against Miners quick strike offense.
Charlotte - 40 @ North Carolina Central - 28; Paybacks are so sweet!

As or our "Picker - Extraordinaire", this weeks winner with 12 correct picks is goldeneagle21.

AFter 3 weeks, cumulatively, goldeneagle21 is also our year to date leader, but 7 other "picker pretenders" are at 30 or more, just waiting to pass him by.
