I would prefer that MTSU win any OOC games they have left. In conference, we will need them to lose a couple, but even then, WKU would need to win the rest of their conference games for that to matter (unlikely). Good game MTSU.

One thing seems certain. Our schedules look a lot tougher now than they did on paper before the season started particularly in the east.

It's a going to be a fight every week. Good luck rest of the way!

That's for damn sure. Every team in the conference looks to be a tough out at this point aside from USM and FIU. And my money would be on at least one of those two teams screwing somebody's season up before all is said and done.

i believe that other than the bammers and lsus and ohio states ie the top 5-10 programs there is more parity than ever in fbs. an illinois or minnesota can't just walk over western and middle anymore. conference games will be a dogfight whether it's us or the sunbelt.

this is all just my opinion. when i say we could lose all of them it's not because i think we're awful. i just think things are more equal than they've ever been.

Personally, after watching both games against MT, I think WKU would whip Minnesota on a neutral field. Western is the better team.

I still beleive WKU was the better team but we are still making too many mistakes. New coach will need a few games to find his stride. MT has a solid team without a doubt and everybody in the conference better lace them tight every weekend. Bowl slots will be earned for sure this season.

At least in this conference if you earn a bowl slot you'll actually get one.

You forgot Memphis State

The main thing, other than the win (of course) that came out of the WKU game is that we found ourselves a starting QB (our biggest question mark coming into the year). Love his swagger-- and he's a lot faster runner than I had originally thought.

The Sun Belt has had more elibile teams left out in last two or three years as CUSA has had in the last decade, that was the point.
