Best retort to close-minded fans who curse the idea of hiring a MAC coach -- Matt Hayes, The Sporting News.

If he wins us a BE title I'll gladly shake his hand and say thank you if he decides to move on to a bigger job.

They are at least starting to have the swagger that they need to be able to win it..

If I had to go out on a limb, my gut tells me Kelly will be far better than Dantonio.

Don't forget, attendance is a major reason we are not thought of as a good program. If you look back at how many bowls we have went to over the last 10 years this program looks like a really good up and comer. But then you see attendance numbers and thats where you sizzle out. Hopefully Kelly and future offense sparks enough interest that attendance numbers jump over 30k. There is no reason that a city our size cannot handle that for 5-6 home games a year.

Could you imagine 3-5 years from now, talk about expansion for the stadium. It will obviously take several years of constant sellouts before anyone would take you serious, but going from where we are now to there would be a huge step.

theres hardly any room at all for expansion. Everything is practically breathing down the neck of nippert.

You can always expand toward the sky.. I.E. another pavilion on the west side.. with boxes at the bottom and top.. like Mississippi States stadium..

Or, just make the stadium deeper.
