Thanks Pony 04-bow I liked Randy Harvey's comment the best 03-lmfao

"Lose the sunglasses, Kliff Kingsbury. They’re not Kool in a 82-27 loss to TCU. Or maybe he was wearing them for anonymity."

RE: Texas Tech....
I have no issues with "running up the score." Likewise, I hate it when fans and players on the losing side complain and whine about the score.

A lopsided score simply means that the other team was that much better that day. Don't like it? Get into practice and shape it up. It's not Gary Patterson's job to decide not to score. If I was a player on the team where the coach somehow ordered us to not run hard, or stop on the 1, or otherwise quit playing at 100% then I'd probably quit. I'm not saying that you leave starters in for the whole game, but if you did that's OK too. Realize the risk...if your starting QB gets hurt in the waning minutes of a blow-out (or any other skill position player) you pay the piper on the other side. But if it's the third-team or bench players, I'm putting them out there and saying "Play at full speed."

I am of the same opinion. I would also add that it is one thing to be upset when an FBS school to run it up on an FCS school (to which I might understand the argument) but it is completely different when we are talking about two teams from the same conference (two power conference no less).

Texas Tech has been a member of the "protected class" for a lot longer than TCU. If anything, they should have the leverage to run up the score on TCU who has only been called up from the MWC for the past two years.

it's not running up the score if the other team essentially quits trying. What are you supposed to do, punt on 3rd down so you don't hurt their feelings?

Now that they cancelled Honey Boo Boo, how else are we supposed to get our white trash fix? Don't judge.

Finally, it's five pages from where Rath is sitting, clearly, because he has his page view set to 10 threads per page, instead of 50.

Rath, in your profile, click "Edit Options". Halfway down the right side of that page, you should be able to change the number of threads you see on each page. If it's set to only five or ten, it is a pain in the rearend.

Duly noted. This thread sort of feels like tripe from the blue goobers over on Victory Parkway, however. Why not move it up in off topic or smack?

Ha, top rated comment blamed Tuberville. They so, so badly want to point a finger at him for allowing 82 points. Sounds familiar.
