RE: B1Gbbs Playoff Poll
Official poll is out. Looks like Michigan State is the B1G's only shot. I just can't see Ohio State or Nebby moving up past all those schools to grab a top 4 slot.

RE: B1Gbbs Playoff Poll
I think it's harder to guess going forward than other polls, but despite Ohio State's bad position am mostly accepting of them. Unlike the other polls, I think the primary thing the committee is now looking at is quality of wins. That's in contrast to the other polls where losses mattered more (quality of loss and time of loss in the season). It's also important to remember that conference championships are supposed to be considered, but obviously you can't take into account being conference champ until the end of the year. I'm not sure how much weight will be there though given they are also supposed to just get the "best 4."

Right now I'd rank the control their own destiny like this:
1. SEC Champ (as either #1 or #2 if they have 1 loss or are undefeated)
2. Florida State
3. Oregon/Arizona/Arizona State (Oregon would be no worse than #3, Arizona or Arizona State if they won out would likely be #4).
4. TCU/Kansas State/Baylor (all in if they win out in my opinion).
5. Michigan State
6a. 2nd SEC team (1-loss)
6b. Ohio State/Nebraska

The big question is if Ohio State and/or Nebraska can push above a 2nd SEC team and that's what worries me as it's likely to be an obstacle if one of those two win the rest of the way.
