I could care less if we beat the spread, since Im not a gambler that means nothing to me. If we win by 35, 22, or 1 I don't care as long as we win.

Do I think USM is improving, yes. Do I think you are ready to play a tight game with Marshall, I don't. I think that is probably 2 maybe 3 recruiting classes away.

Nick Mullins is going to be you version of Brian Anderson for Marshall. Anderson wasn't ever going to be a great player and have all world stats but then again he had a bad OLine and very few playmakers. If he would have had an OLine and more playmakers he would have been able to manage the game and win 7-8 games a year. But we didn't have the depth then. And that's whats going to take USM down, not having the depth of playmakers if it be on the offense or defensive side.

it's funny how the definition of "upset" upsets......lmfao

Johnson twisted his ankle at the end of the FAU 1st half. He probably should have not played in the 2nd half of that game. He wrangled his way in past the DRs and coaches because no one on FAUs defense could stop him.

Butler and Watson aren't any slouches and our future backfield looks like its solid with Brandon Byrd and Tony Pittman.

I noticed that Johnson's left leg and ankle was wrapped heavily at the end of the USM game. Hope he is ready for next week, we may need him against Rice.

If rice can move your DL around and slow the pace.....doc's gonna have a little bit of work on his hands......not saying you guys will lose by any stretch, but it's a different scheme that you'll face vs what we tossed at ya...and I say that with Ito having a great game yesterday....

I think it's easily going to be your toughest test to date.....
