Big Ten Power Rankings - week 11
Power Rankings are getting pretty close to matching conference records, but there is still a little sorting out to do in the west.

1. OSU
the clear #1 now.

2. MSU
MSU still has its earlier victory over Nebraska to set itself apart from the 1-loss teams in the west.

3. Neb
There is a logjam between Neb, Wisc, and Minn that will be sorted out in the next 3 weeks. For now Neb has the edge because it has consistently won double digit victories and only loss is to MSU.

4. Wisc
Wisc has been looking good since its loss to NW.

5. Minn
It was tempting to move Minn higher after its blowout win over Iowa, but Minn has too many close victories and a bad loss to ILL.

6. Md
Md has not really done anything impressive but they did at least beat Iowa.

7. Iowa
The team always known for playing boring low scoring close games suddenly is on a roller coaster of high scoring blow outs. Iowa's blow out loss to Minn officially now makes it a pretender.

8. Mich
Slowly moving up. This team looks more like a middle of the pack team than the bottom team, bowl chances are now 50-50.

9. Nw
Team does not seem to have much left. Could be on its way to freefall.

10. PSU
Good enough to beat Rutgers and Indy

11. Rutgers
Has not done much since early in the season.

12. Purdue
Tempting to put them higher because they have improved from last season, but they are not winning any games.

13. ILL
Technically still has a chance for a Bowl if they can upset Iowa and NW.

14. INDY
THE clear bottom team.

RE: Big Ten Power Rankings - week 11
1) OSU - Consensus #1
2) MSU - In spite of the loss, I still think they are the #2 team. Not looking forward to RU playing them.
3) Wisconsin - Huge game for them this weekend. I think Wisconsin beats Nebraska (where is the pick 'em??)
4) Nebraska - Big gap from #4 to #5.
5) Minnesota - Big win for them rockets them up my list this week.
6) Maryland
7) Iowa
8) PSU - Unimpressive win vs a bad Indiana team.
9) Michigan - Same for Michigan as PSU, just vs. NW.
10) NW
11) Illinois
12) Purdue
13) Rutgers - Pretty confident RU will become bowl eligible this weekend.
14) Indiana
