Wasn't Snowden gonna walk on, and then Jones offered the scholly, and then he didn't qualify? Either way, it was announced the June after Jones' hire that Trey was Norfolk bound.

Trey transfered to ODU about two months after Jeff Jones was hired.

I'm gonna say it and I know I may get some flack, but this current ODU basketball team that played against VCU yesterday was the best team I've ever seen play at ODU. I've been watching ODU basketball since Chris Gatling was playing. Not individual players (yet), but as a team.

That may be true but it's apparent he loves ODU. Every time he has spoken he brings up the community....even encouraged fans to attend the soccer game in his post game comments once. He is a great spokesman for our school.

I think we can all agree on one thing......the NCAA inadvertently did us a HUGE favor by denying his waiver to play last year (which probably would have been a wasted year) and allowing us to have him for both this year and next year.

The NCAA's extreme incompetence actually worked in our favor for once!

We'll definitely need him next year as we will be losing our starting frontcourt. Granted, we'll have Stith, but Ross will be tough to replace with all the little things he does.

Yep. Losing a lot of athleticism between Ross and Arledge. Replacing it with some size in Stith and Pervier. It'll be interesting to see what Pervier brings to the table. Hopefully he can play fast enough to be a legit Division I big man.

He's a wild card/unknown right now for the most part, but I'm hoping Douglas can also help replace some of the things that Ross does.
