It should read 9-3*
You deserve to be champions as much as marshal deserves the access slot.
You lost to UConn
No temple, uc and USC. Point?

Should be a good one. I fully expect ECU to be favored once lines come out.

You win by scoring points not gaining yards.
UCF scoring D #5 vs ECU #13 scoring O
Why rush when you can pass all day long on ECU secondary?
I dont see where anyone can say ECU D is near the quality of UCF.
Maybe in a category, but thats not the total picture.

Oh actually, if you want to be factual, it's the #13 (ECU) scoring O vs #5 (UCF) scoring D and the #71 (UCF) scoring O vs the #52 (ECU)scoring D.
So
13 vs 5 and 71 vs 52
FYI, I wasn't saying ECU's D was as good as UCF's, as a whole. Rushing D how ever, say I would.

Have you ever considered that ECU's rushing defense stats are inflated by teams choosing not to run the ball and instead choosing to pass on the 90th ranked passing defense?
I'm not saying ECU isn't good inside, but I definitely think that ranking is being propped up by teams that simply don't bother running.

No it's not being propped up. Nearly every coach we have faced have said before the game "we need to establish the run" and most have tried, VT, UNC, Tulsa, USF, Temple, Cinny, Etc. Only SMU went complete away from the run.
VT 33 rushing ATT for 91 yards 56 pass
SMU 18 rush ATT 67 pass ATT
USF 27 ATT for 93 42 pass
Tulsa 45 ATT 32 pass
Temple 37 ATT for 65 yards 19 pass
Cinny 33 ATT 45 pass
UConn 26 ATT 32 pass
SC 38 ATT 38 pass
UNC 39 ATT 43 pass
VT had to give up on the run down 21-0, but most of the 1st half they tried to run the ball. SC mixed run and pass 50/50.

I think stat quotes from either team is ridiculous. Our league has a lot of bad teams and we both can pad stats pretty easily in this league.
ECU might be favored but they are the only team in this matchup that can spoil the other's title hopes. I think the Pirates are highly motivated to do so.

True. But I imagine UCF will be highly motivated to go out and win back2back conference championships. Its gone come down to execution, not emotion. I hope we can match there emotion and not let all the senior night noise cloud the teams vision.

Spoken as someone who clearly didn't even watch the game.
USF didn't "hold us" to anything. O'Leary got ultra conservative when he realized that USF wouldn't be able to do anything against our defense. We had 45 rushing attempts compared to just 29 pass attempts.
Still, we were a freshman fumble away from ending the game 23-0.
Who is going to cover Perriman, Reese, and Hall in ECU's bad secondary?
