hot garbage bowl

I don't want to drive 10 hours to watch them beat up on that trash team.

NC State is a mediocre team this year that beat two FCS teams to become bowl eligible.

Did you make the drive down to watch UCF play that "trash" team?

That "mediocre" team from Raleigh won by 7 and the game wasn't that close with the Pack dominating at the line. NC State controlled the ball for almost 34 minutes & had 114 more yards of offense despite UCF racking up yards late with NCST in prevent D. The Wolf Pack led by at least two touchdowns for over 25 minutes in the 2nd half.

Perhaps playing all those AAC bunnies the last few months left some clouded expectations. This was certainly a step up in competition after UCF's final 6 opponents had a .319 winning percentage on the season.

I was please that Coach Doeren didn't run it up in the fourth like some teams do - no need to humiliate O'Leary and company. 04-cheers

You can tell a lot about a team by who the lose to - Central Florida lost to UConn. We lost to FSU, Clemson, GT, BC, and Louisville. We were competitive all the way through with FSU and Louisville, but Clemson, GT, and BC physically beat us - Clemson's defense and GT's offense in particular.

And as today proves, being 9th in the ACC is better than being tied for first in the AAC. 04-cheers

Maybe this is what you end up with when you have the 2nd highest undergraduate enrollment in the country. 01-wingedeagle

Spot on. I'm not alone in having previously pointed out that the immature behavior on these boards by many UCF fans is directly tied to the fact that a majority of their posters are still in school in Orlando or recent grads under 25. You don't get many 30+ online UCF fans on these boards.

Something to keep in mind when you see over the top UCF posts that show a lack of knowledge on anything that happened prior to 2005.
