He's a hell of a player, with the unfortunate burden of playing for a team that won't help him get much recruiting exposure. We need to try to get him on board soon.

The bolded is good for us. If he transfers to Huber Heights Wayne or Trotwood-Madison he will be headed to the B10 or the ACC.

Oh 100%, that's why we cleaned up in Winton Woods for a while until they started competing at the state level.

Dallas Gant

He is a VERY good player and an even better person...led the TRAC (NW Ohio's big school conference) in sacks and tackles for loss as a freshman and improved on those numbers his sophomore year. Tall, rangy kid with a good frame for growth and also a very talented basketball player, he will be a good OLB with some tutelage, but at the moment he is pretty much only a rush backer and shows it when he's thrust into coverage (our team exploited him constantly last year). He has a ton of potential but he's still very raw. Mother is a principal for a high school in the area and he is related to Allen Gant (Michigan, which is how Coop knows the name) and his father who also played for Michigan...I believe they are cousins.

With all that being said, he's more than likely going to be an OSU guy should they offer, and I'm hearing they will at some point since he is considered a Top 50 overall and one of the best players in Ohio (even if I personally wouldn't go just that far yet). If not, he'd be a very great get in a school that has some other strong players.

Cincinnati should really consider going after Peter McIntyre (highlights), another SJJ kid albeit at '17er, he's by far the best player on that team on defense (leading tackler), offense (leading receiver), and special teams (most kicking points in the league last year). 3* kid and with only MAC offers at the moment.
