Their founder was a truly great man.
No matter what CFA I go to, the staff is always courteous and nice..
There's a big difference between being opposed to marriage equality and giving thousands of dollars to groups that support jailing or even executing persons for being Gay.

I think you guys might be guilty of being more concerned with who you think should be right or wrong, rather than WHAT should be right or wrong.
First of all, I can't marry another man either, so it's not the equality of marriage that you're concerned about. Second, dunn debunked your ignorant conspiracy theory about Chick-Fil-A. If you or john ever get a second chance at life, hopefully you'll do something besides squander it away on useless issues.

There is a homeless guy in my town who I've seen sitting in a Subway and and Arby's restaurant recently, getting out of the cold. Neither asked him to immediately leave either. His shopping cart full of all his possessions was sitting outside.
Nobody has ever said that the employees or owner/managers of CFA's were bad people.
What you need to separate is laws that apply to discrimination when it comes to businesses.
And I don't know of anyone who is saying that you MUST personally agree and support gay marriages as UM is for some reason trying to assert. All I've heard is that supporters of gay marriage just want the ability to have it and not be discriminated for it.
This fallacy by the right that allowing gay marriage somehow makes someones traditional marriage less or invalid is maddening.
CFA recruits a higher quality worker that almost all other fast food chains and it shows, so yes CFA did something, they hired the right kind of person to represent them in their store.
The two Wendy's restaurants I frequent have the nicest folks I've ever dealt with in the fast food industry. And they somehow manage to do this without being the most attractive people on the planet.

BTW - The service at Hooters sucks ass.
Best Hooters I ever went to was in Portland, Oregon.. Hot waitresses, quick service, and when I dipped, I could ask them for a go cup, and they'd bring me a plastic cup with a paper towel stuck down in it.

Indeed. Every time I go to CFA, I'm always amazed at how focused and dedicated the 2 or 3 girls at the window seemed to be to their jobs. They're always cute, too. CFA in general has their processes down to perfection. They can run through a line of 30+ cars during rush hour in 10 minutes.
On the contrary (and I don't eat there often at all, maybe once or twice a month for breakfast when I'm on the road and out of sheer convenience), at McDonalds, I'm lucky if the window person looks up from their Obamaphone long enough to be bothered to hand me my food.
In summary,
vs.
Such a great comparison. Literally EVERY time I go to Chick Fil A the folks working there are so polite. When I go with my wife and 13 month old son somebody is usually quick to offer us to sit with the little one and even brings us a high chair while we wait for our food. That kind of stuff very, very rarely happens at any other fast food restaurant.

my fave Hooters story.....(seriously, I'm not good enough to make this up)
...in baltimore of all freakin' places...
the waitress bends over with perfect stream of cleavage.....then, the name tag glistens to the tune of 'S-H-A-D-O-N-K-Y'
I almost spat myself while saying, "oh, shadonky, can I be your honky?"
needless to say, it tipped well into the well
btw, PDX and PHX hooters were way above average....and if you understand PDX, then you know the Blue Dolphin takes lunch to another level of fun....

Not debunked. FRC admitted they spent money lobbying in support of Uganda's "Gay Genocide" bill.
They offered up some lame excuse (which failed as they didn't offer up substitute language) AFTER they did the lobbying and only after they were caught doing it.
If you're looking for links between this kind of stuff and Islamic Extremists, might I ask you to ask Tony Perkins about his involvement with the World Congress of Families/Family Watch International, which works with Iran and other repressive regimes to assist in the criminalization of being Gay.
The bill that FRC spent 25k lobbying against simply condemned nations for throwing people in jail for being Gay. That's it. What friggin' clarification do they need to have with this bill? And Winshape/CFA/Same Thing gave them beaucoup dollars.
But hopefully, the new generation of Cathys will not be supporting hate groups like Perkins' FRC. I think that any organization headed by a man who wrote a check to David Duke for 85 grand would send up some red flags. But that's just me.

Go back and read the article. Even Breitbart admitted that they lobbied on the bill. The anti-Gay source (Breitbart) then spent some time trying (and failing) to justify that position.
