Ohio States, loves that Michigan may lose recruit to Liberty
Liberty takes another step forward in being with the big boys by being included in their banter with some complimentary comments about 3* recruit Nate Dalton.
To all the naysayers who have dismissed LU from being FBS worthy, to all the posters who have poked we LU fans in the eye, to all the small time, low level, FBS teams, chew on this:

That's national champ Ohio State. Be sue to read the forum comments at the bottom.

This year's recruit watch is very exciting for LU fans. Being in the mix with the P5's for recruits is a great step towards recognition. Being selected over them is a whole 'nother huge leap. As always, when pen meets paper and commits become more than tweets, and we're selected, then that's a time for celebration. It's kinda of fun now.

You are right. It is good publicity for Liberty right now even if the kids don't sign. If they do, that's the icing on the cake.

Do we have a good class? I know we have a few bright spots. Hopefully they can earn their way onto the field early in their careers and make a difference and push us over the edge for FBS. Combine this with a complete rebuild in basketball and we may be able to build some momentum.

I believe we have the 'mo' and the announced/tweeted recruits are the dividends of the progression the program is on. The obvious upside with the MBB with a new start beginning with a new year, and with any level of success, will keep the 'mo' working. A close, respectful FB game at WVU, a close win at GaSt and at home win with JMU, and a win against the one true rival BSC program LU has, Coastal, will keep 'mo' moving upward. The recruit stars will be brighter, the impact players higher profile and that will continue to repeat itself, as long as we win enough to be respectful, and steal one occasionally we weren't expected to win.
Loses against teams we should be beat, or a return to close losses and the 'mo' can stop quickly. LU simply does not have the winning heritage to withstand any prolonged downtown. The greater the winning tradition the longer teams have to re-focus the team and improve the play and players.
Let's ride the high for now as these situations have ebbs and flows and our high tide is now and still climbing. Keep it rolling!!!
